Continued growth for Schöck Ltd and its range of Isokorb® thermal break solutions has meant an increased workload for the dedicated UK technical team. To cope with the demand, the team has been expanded and the operation moved to larger premises at Kidlington, just north of Oxford.
Additional space at the new facility results not only in a more comfortable working environment, but allows for meeting areas that both the technical and sales teams can utilise.
The role of the technical team is to provide a fully comprehensive design, technology and consultancy service on all aspect of the companys products at any stage, from project inception through to on-site construction. Schöck uses proprietary software such as Finite Element, alongside its own bespoke developed calculation programs.
The latest generation of Isokorb® design software is in fact freely available to all professionals and calculates the present member forces for connections of widely differing balcony types.
