Fakro bespoke conservation roof windows for flagship Edinburgh hotel

Fakro bespoke conservation roof windows for flagship Edinburgh hotel

The latest Fakro project in which bespoke roof windows have been supplied is the new 208-room Motel One Edinburgh Royal in Market Street. A range of roof windows in conservation style were specified by Morgan McDonnell Architecture for the German group’s first hotel in the UK, which also has 29 luxury serviced apartments and overlooks Waverley station.

As part of the 140,000 sq.ft. conversion of 16th and 18th century listed buildings, 25 roof windows have been installed including smoke vent, flat roof, fixed closed and bespoke top hung designs.
