Market-leading building product specialist Alumasc has further strengthened its portfolio of world class roofing products by becoming a commercial and industrial authorised distributor for Firestone RubberGard^® EPDM and UltraPly™ TPO single-ply roofing systems in England, Wales and Scotland.

The introduction of Firestone into the Alumasc range reaffirms its strategy of providing premium, high-performance products and systems, allowing the continued supply of unrivalled waterproofing solutions from a single source.

Firestone Building Products entered the commercial roofing industry in 1980 building on its success and experience in rubber polymer technology. Three decades later, over one billion square metres of Firestone’s sustainable roofing membranes have been installed on rooftops worldwide. In line with Alumasc’s continued commitment to sustainable building practices, the new products have a limited environmental impact during manufacture, are highly recyclable and offer low life-cycle costs.

Firestone RubberGard^® EPDM and UltraPly™ TPO offer robust, performance-led solutions which sit perfectly alongside Alumasc’s well-respected Derbigum roofing membranes and Hydrotech 6125 structural waterproofing system. The Firestone range will form part of the Alumasc waterproofing offer and will benefit from its own dedicated sales team. To augment the current sales force and maximise the specification opportunities in London and the South East a further experienced single ply specification professional will be recruited in what is a key, strategic area of the country.

Further support for the Firestone EPDM and TPO ranges will also be provided via a technical support team with over 40 years combined waterproofing experience.
