Type of works: Supply and installation of cycle-parking facilities

The cycle-parking facilities at various First Capital Connect railway stations required updating and in some cases stations didn’t have any. 

External Solutions Limited was commissioned to provide quality and value-for-money cycle parking, painted in corporate colours, for a number of stations.

After undertaking multiple site surveys in one day, External Solutions advised on maximum useage of space allocated, designed bespoke facilities where needed and planned the work to suit the customer’s deadline.

The installations were organised to be carried out in a specified timescale and in less busy times, to ensure minimal disruption to commuters and staff.

Each site's parking facilities were completed on time, left in a clean and safe condition, and included the removal and disposal of the old stands and debris.
