Flexible floor tiles/sheets: safety

The Polysafe collection of heavy-duty vinyl safety floorings incorporates coloured quartz, aluminium oxide and silicon-carbide particles to impart enhanced slip resistance.

The portfolio offers an outstanding choice of decoration and colour, all in conformance to HSE Guidelines, achieving 36+ on the pendulum wet test and a surface roughness of 20 microns and above.

New safety ranges introduced to the collection include Polysafe Wood FX and Polysafe Mosaic, two highly decorative ranges designed for back- and front-of-house public areas where there are risks of water spillage. Polysafe Wood FX Acoustic combines safety with acoustic performance, achieving an impact sound reduction level of greater than or equal to 19dB to exceed Building Regulation requirements.

Polysafe floorings conform to BS EN 13845:2005, achieving a maximum Agrément rating of G5ws. All ranges are tested to BS EN 13501-1:2007, and certified as Class B_fl-s1, achieving the criteria BS EN ISO 9239-1 =8kw/m² and the mandatory requirement of BS EN ISO 11925-2:2002 Pass.
