Flood Barrier installed at substation in Castletown

Flood Control International recently protected a substation for Manx Utilities at Castletown, Isle of Man. Castletown suffered severe flooding in January 2014 from storm and tidal surges.

The simple slot-in flood barrier can be installed behind the substation doors, and means that personnel do not need to fetch, fill and place sandbags each time there is a flood warning.
