Flowcrete Makes The Move Into Ireland

South Cheshire-based flooring manufacturer Flowcrete Group Ltd - a subsidiary of RPM International Inc. and part of the RPM Performance Coatings Group - has acquired the business of Belfast-based Resdev Ireland Ltd, including the range of products marketed by Resin Developments Ltd across Northern and Southern Ireland.

The former Resdev Ireland business – one of the leading suppliers of resin floor products in Northern and Southern Ireland - is to be merged into Flowcrete Group Ltd, RPM's main manufacturing business for resin flooring in the UK and Europe - and one of the world's leading suppliers of specialist flooring products.

This acquisition will make Flowcrete a leading supplier of specialist flooring products in Northern and Southern Ireland.

Speaking from Flowcrete's headquarters in Sandbach, Managing Director Mark Greaves said: “This acquisition represents a big step forward in terms of our presence in Ireland.

“It is a vote of confidence in the Irish economy following the severe downturn in its construction sector, occasioned by the recent global recession.

“Flowcrete has recently supplied major flooring projects across Ireland and this acquisition consolidates our position as a leading supplier to this important and growing market for our products.
