Flowcrete Moves Into Indian Market
South Cheshire flooring company Flowcrete has sealed its bid to tap into the Indian marketplace with the opening of a new office in the south of the country.
Flowcrete India has been opened in the major industrial region of Chennai, to give the company a launch pad into the growing number of construction projects taking place on the sub-continent. It is the first office Flowcrete has opened in India. Located on the south eastern coast of India, Chennai - once known as Madras - is developing rapidly. It is host to a number of industries such as automobile, technology, hardware manufacturing, and healthcare industries all sectors that specify Flowcrete floors.
Mark Greaves, managing director of Flowcrete, which has its UK headquarters in Sandbach, Cheshire, said: We see India as a major area for growth and setting up the office in Chennai is part of that progressive expansion.
There is a great deal of construction work planned there and we see it as a hotspot for the future.
As we expand into the market, we will recruit new sales managers for Mumbai and Delhi.
