Flowcrete Moves Into Indian Market

South Cheshire flooring company Flowcrete has sealed its bid to tap into the Indian marketplace with the opening of a new office in the south of the country.

Flowcrete India has been opened in the major industrial region of Chennai, to give the company a launch pad into the growing number of construction projects taking place on the sub-continent. It is the first office Flowcrete has opened in India. Located on the south eastern coast of India, Chennai - once known as Madras - is developing rapidly. It is host to a number of industries such as automobile, technology, hardware manufacturing, and healthcare industries – all sectors that specify Flowcrete floors.

Mark Greaves, managing director of Flowcrete, which has its UK headquarters in Sandbach, Cheshire, said: “We see India as a major area for growth and setting up the office in Chennai is part of that progressive expansion.

“There is a great deal of construction work planned there and we see it as a hotspot for the future.

“As we expand into the market, we will recruit new sales managers for Mumbai and Delhi.”
