Flowcretes Floors Make the Grade At Interbuild Specifier BSF
Specialist flooring company Flowcrete will be showcasing its unique Floorzone concept at Interbuild.
Flowcrete will be within the New Interbuild Specifier BSF area at the show, stand number C71, from 18 21 October 2009. Interbuild Specifier BSF is dedicated to the educational building, refurbishment and regeneration programme.
Flowcretes Floorzone caters for the complete floor area and incorporates Flowcretes Isocrete Acoustic K system, Isowarm Underfloor Heating, Isocrete K-Screed and decorative resin finishes.
The entire Floorzone package is designed, manufactured and supplied by Flowcrete and installed by Flowcrete approved contractors.
Floorzone offers a range of benefits - including the delivery of heating out of sight, with no risk of injuries from hot surfaces through the use of Isowarm underfloor heating. This system also offers energy savings of up to 30% compared to conventional heating systems whilst delivering a healthier environment.
Alan Dean, Sales Director of Flowcrete, based in Cheshire, said: Our Floorzone system means that specifiers in the education sector can achieve a high acoustic performance, time proven screed and energy saving underfloor heating along with a decorative floor finish from Flowcretes extensive range - with just one contractor responsible for the entire procedure.
It offers sustainable benefits, with all products arriving on site from one source, and the number of contractor visits to site reduced as well. All Flowcrete floors are designed with sustainability in mind and have been used in BREEAM Excellent rated projects.
Flowcrete has recently launched a brochure dedicated to flooring in the education sector. Entitled Transforming Education Environments the guide brings together a broad range of information - including details on sustainability and sector specific case studies showcasing flooring projects across the UK.
Alan Dean, added: In the UK alone, Flowcrete spends more than £600,000 on research and development globally amounting to £1.3m. This approach enables the company to continually focus on new innovations for the education sector.
