Having provided jumpers for the team back in 2014, local company Franke Sissons, have extended their generosity for aspiring youngsters in the Wingerworth Wolves under 9’s football team in Chesterfield by providing training jackets.
Playing in the Rowsley mini soccer league on Saturday mornings at Matlock, near Chesterfield, the team is coached, often by the parents who give up their time to offer a safe, fun environment for local kids to enjoy football. Established when some of the players were younger than 6 years old, the club is a not for profit organisation where all money from sponsors, subs and fund raising is used to improve facilities and pay for equipment.
John Mason team manager for the Wolves and dad to player Lucas, said “The club are made up with the sponsored kit and I can't thank Franke Sissons enough for the continued support they have given us over the years. The boys still wear the jumpers that Franke provided them with over two years ago which shows just how much pride it gives them to wear a proper team strip.”
Franke Sissons, (aka Franke Water Systems), is well known in the area for it’s support of local good causes and investment in young people via apprenticeships over the course of its 284 year heritage.
