Being a main dealer for the UK’s most popular car brand means that showroom standards have to be kept high. Holiways is one of the largest Ford dealers in the North East and has recently built an impressive new showroom and body shop in Newton Aycliffe.

The architect’s vision called for a stunning elliptical bullnose and matching soffit giving the effect of an aeroplane wing that Sotech was able to realise, whilst also providing a practical solution using CAD and CNC technology to meet the tight specifications required.

Additionally, 4,000mm long Optima^® interlocking wall plank was used as a soffit back to the structural glazing. Drip-off points to prevent wall staining from airborne particles were also created and incorporated in the bullnose design.
