Framework agreement achieved

Gilgen Door Systems UK Ltd are pleased to announce that they have successfully been accepted as a supplier of high security roller shutters for a large UK Water authority as part of a framework agreement

The three to five year agreement includes the supply of level 3 and 4 security Rolegard roller shutters as part of recommended upgrade work.

The Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) issues guidance notes to UK water authorities and utility companies on behalf of the Government. These guidelines recommend that water treatment plants require upgrading to ensure that target hardening measures are met. The stringent tender process included a pre-qualification stage, sealed tender application, supply, installation and technical inspection and post tender interviews.

David Jones, Technical Manager, Gilgen New Doors Sales Department said “We are extremely pleased to have been accepted as a framework supplier of Rolegard high security roller shutters. At present we are the only company to be able to supply a level 4 certificated product and have been working with water authorities across the UK to provide a security solution to meet the CPNI recommendations”.
