Type of works: supply of Manhattan and Libra Lines carpet tiles.
The brief was for a stylish and exclusive floorcovering that would not only reflect the high-specification of the office, where it is hoped the discerning interior design will attract big business to the building, but also one that was durable enough to maintain its professional appearance for some time.
Aesthetics and texture played a key role in the selection of Manhattan, for the reception area, corridors and public travel shop and Libra Lines, for the offices and communal spaces. Fraser Eagle’s in-house design team responsible for selecting the products, were seeking a floorcovering that as well as being attractive, could also be used to highlight different areas in the building.
Manhattan carpet tiles were specified in a fresh aqua shade for the public travel shop, to reflect the corporate colours of the World Choice division of Fraser Eagle. The luxuriously textured look and feel of Manhattan was also ideal for the reception area that welcomes visitors and business on a daily basis. Constructed of high and low loops providing a thick soft floorcovering, with chunky directional lines and soft multi-coloured yarns, Manhattan makes a strong, bold presence.
Once combined with Libra Lines, areas are instantly delineated aiding the flow of traffic. Libra Lines is a striking tufted loop pile carpet tile, selected in a corporate Blue shade echoing Fraser Eagle’s branding.
“The distinct pattern created by using Manhattan and Libra Lines carpet tiles is ideal for our offices and the zoning of different areas. Chosen for their aesthetics, the textured quality of the carpet tiles gives a certain depth to the appearance of the floor, creating an attractive floorcovering that reflects the company’s image,” explains Vicki Eccles, Designer at Fraser Eagle.
