Composition and manufacture
NW100: panel cladding: E1 grade chipboard; inter-panel joints: anodised aluminium, tongued-and-grooved profiles with magnetic seals; inner frame: peripheral steel-tube frame; track: galvanised steel or anodised aluminium; seals: PVC and neoprene.
Other models: as Alco Beldan NW100 but 100SE and 115F have a steel frame and 100F is of timber construction.
Size and weight
Panel thickness: 100mm; width: 800 to 1,260mm; weight: 37 to 65kg/m2.
Height: NW100 up to 10,000mm (approximate); NW100F up to 4,100mm; all other models up to 8,000mm.
Wide range of finishes possible including: natural timber veneers, laminates, PVC foil, sheet metal, wallcovering, enlarged photographs, moulded panels.
Effect of fire
When closed, NW100F gives 30mins fire resistance, and NW115F provides 60mins fire resistance.
NW100 has sound reduction to Rw 58dB DIN 52210 and other models have Rw 54dB to BS EN ISO 140-3:1995.
Alco Beldan provides a complete nationwide supply-and-fix service, including track suspension and ceiling-void sound baffle if required.
