Composition and manufacture
The Firedeck composite panel comprises a galvanised, profiled-steel deck, with a continuously injected CFC- and HCFC-free polyisocyanurate foam-insulation core to provide the required U value. The panel is surfaced during manufacture with either an autohesively-bonded layer of Sure-Weld TPO thermoplastic polyolefin roofing membrane, or alternatively a layer of bitumen roofing membrane that is styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) modified, to receive the Icopal FireSmart® cap sheet. Internally, the panel is finished with a White enamel surface.
