Composition and manufacture

All Stannah passenger lift products are structure supported or traditionally wall mounted. Ranges also include low headroom and a reduced pit depth.

Stannah’s most popular lift sizes are available as structure-supported lifts, ideal for timber framed buildings.

The Stannah FX structure-supported passenger lift provides a solution to situations, mainly in timber-framed buildings, where a lift with no load bearing shaft is required.

The FX reduces building time and costs less, as no loadbearing lift shaft is required.
FX is a Stannah lift supplied in its own structure to fit anywhere within a building. Just a firm base, solid floor and headroom support is needed. There is no need for a lifting beam, this is supplied on the structure which is assembled within the shaft. The FX can be installed into existing lift wells too. A structure supported lift is particularly useful in timber framed buildings where the walls may be unable to support a traditional shaft.
