Type of works: design a seat for the newly refurbished Gallions Reach DLR Station

In March 2008 Furnitubes were asked to design a seat for the newly refurbished Gallions Reach DLR Station. The seats were to be low maintenance, very durable and to utilise natural products. Furnitubes design department rose to the challenge by producing working drawings for the Albert Basin seat; made from Certified Green Oak timber supported by a galvanised mild steel frame. Six bollards were also made for the projects from Certified Green Oak timber.
