Gas Pressure Proving Systems, laboratories

Gas Pressure Proving Systems, laboratories

A highly effective product which uses Medem's patented technology to measure pressure differential across the solenoid valve.

There are four gas pressure proving systems for use in laboratories, GPPS-L, GPPS-L-CO2, the GPPS-LE with electrical bench socket isolation and the GPPS-Ti that isolates both the bench electrics and the bench water supply.

The method of gas pressure proving on all the firm's systems employs patented technology to measure pressure differential across the solenoid valve. This stops nuisance tripping of the gas supply. No gas taps are open before gas is made available.

An autostop timer is also incorporated into all panels. Also, a let by test can be carried out from the panel because the gas pressures appear on the LCD display.

The GPPS-L gas pressure proving control panel is designed for use where gas taps open to atmosphere are present in a gas line, such as a laboratory.

The GPPS-L can also be used where an electronic control valve is incorporated within a gas supply to a building so a pressure test can be carried out after the control valve has been closed. The model GPPS-LE is also available with key switch isolation of bench electrical supplies.

GPPS-L-CO2 is designed for use where gas taps open to atmosphere, such as in a school laboratory. The GPPS-Ti is a gas pressure proving bench electrical and water isolation system
