Grand Design Blinds were engaged by interior designer Niki Schäfer who was looking for a solution for her clients Mr & Mrs F. who were constructing a new oak-framed building at their house in Gloucestershire.

The design included a large gable window and two roof lanterns; Niki selected Grand Design Blinds' Pinoleum fabric, with a solar reflective coating, to be installed as remote-control blinds for both the gable and one roof lantern. Screen roller blinds in a white fabric were specified for the side windows to reduce glare for watching television.

Surveying and installing the blinds amongst the many other trades working on site was difficult, but was carried out smoothly and the clients were very happy with the final result.
