GRP Roofing System: Dryseal

Hambleside Danelaw

Hambleside Danelaw’s flat and low pitched roofing system, Dryseal is manufactured from glass reinforced polyester, often referred to as GRP or fibreglass.

Dryseal is a unique component based system, effectively a kit of pre-cured parts comprising ribbed and flat membranes and roof trim components. These are mechanically fixed to the roof substrate and all joints laminated. This results in an extremely versatile system, suitable for new and refurbishment work for flat, low pitched and vertical applications.

Dryseal is the most versatile high performance GRP roofing system manufactured in the UK. It is proven to deliver durable, robust roofing with a service life in excess of 30 years. Dryseal carries a fire rating of Ext: FAC which makes it suitable for use on any UK roof.

Dryseal is a natural choice for green roof applications as it is water tight and root resistant. Dryseal can achieve a similar finished detailing appearance to lead, ideal for the heritage market, but without the normally required installation skills and without attracting the risk of theft. A dedicated training centre for Dryseal contractors is located near the Daventry factory.
