Type of works: supply of C/S Acrovyn® Door Protection.
The 25-year Stoke Schools PFI programme includes the building of 9 new schools and refurbishment of the rest of the school's estate in Stoke-on-Trent, as well as maintenance and whole-life works on all the schools.
One of the building components subjected to constant use, therefore enduring extensive wear and tear, are doors. The requirement for the door finishes to be robust and to retain their appearance was of high importance.
Architects specified 2mm C/S Acrovyn® Sheet to be applied to door faces to protect them against potential damage and wear.
The through-colour Acrovyn® Sheet is scratch resistant and easy to clean and maintain.
C/S Acrovyn® faced doors were supplied to a number of Stoke Schools.
