Type of works: design, manufacture and installation of Terminal 3's forecourt canopy.

An innovative design by renowned architects Foster + Partners, together with an aggressive schedule, stringent deadlines and tough site logistics at one of the world’s busiest airports, were some of the reasons Novum was selected for this project.

From design through installation, Novum achieved or beat all deadlines. Seventy ETFE air filled pillows create this striking, transparent cover that floats above the forecourt. A custom screen print pattern was used on the ETFE to accomplish some shade during the day and a glowing effect at night through the use of LED lights on only the short ends of the pillows.
