Hoardfence for external site hoarding

Hoardfence for external site hoarding

Company: Harmony Building Ltd
Location: Harwell Campus, Didcot
Overview: Site hoarding
Solution: Hoardfence

Westgate Global were tasked with providing safe and secure perimeter hoarding for a science and technology campus undergoing construction works, and for this they recommended Hoardfence.

The system has been designed from the ground up with speed of installation and flexibility in mind. Consisting of a unique lightweight uPVC panel and modular support framing, the steel galvanised posts are able to be locked into perfect plumb using an infinitely variable hitch that can accommodate uneven and sloping ground.

Stability is created by using concrete ballast blocks and structural calculations can be provided using their inclusive full project management service. The Hoardfence system can be relocated and reused throughout project phases. Panels are made from 85% recycled plastics and are fully recyclable at end of life.

The total area to be cordoned off was 20 linear metres, complete with a double door – typically installed within a day for a job of this size. Hoardfence was used to safely segregate the works from the public, whilst carrying out construction work to the reception area. The clean and clinical finish of Hoardfence ensured the face of the project looked professional.
