Hormann Shows It's Got Front

Launched earlier this year Hörmann’s ThermoPro range of front entrance doors have become increasingly popular amongst housebuilders and renovators who want to offer their clients the very best in quality and design. Add to that superior energy efficiency, affordability and its high-security features, with the addition of radio finger-scan technology, and it’s easy to realize why ThermoPro has been such a hit.

ThermoPro doors are available in both steel and aluminium, with panel designs in both classic and modern styles to suit all tastes, and these are available with a choice of three different frames; steel, timber and aluminium. All door leaves in the ThermoPro series are 46mm thick and have CFC-free PU foam infill. This achieves excellent insulation with U-values up to 1.1 W/m²K and the corresponding energy saving effect.

The eight point locking as standard provides effective security, and drafts are prevented by the double seals on all four sides and an additional corner sealing at the bottom.

David Newcombe, Sales Director (Domestic Division) and Marketing Manager said; “An attractive front entrance door can do wonders for the exterior appearance of a property and we have found that in the current climate more and more house builders and renovators are specifying high-quality doors that make a real statement and set their build apart from the rest.

“Hörmann UK has been a market leader in garage doors for nearly three decades and the company is now offering a stylish portfolio of front entrance doors that reflects the quality and precision engineering that made the German brand’s garage doors such a huge success.”

Homeowners who regularly lose or misplace their keys can now relax thanks to Hörmann, which has taken home security to a new level by introducing radio finger-scan access to its home and garage doors such as the ThermoPro.

The technology is cable free and is simple to install. Scanning in fingerprints can be done easily and directly on the finger-scan and can include up to twelve individual fingerprints ensuring access for all members of the family.
