Hörmann wins TCS&D health and safety award

Hörmann (UK) Ltd has won the inaugural Temperature Controlled Storage and Distribution (TCS&D), Health and Safety in Warehousing Award. The award reflects a number of safety initiatives that have been developed as a part of the company's policy of continual improvement.

This approach not only applies to new product development but also the whole solution route that Hörmann has adopted.The attention to detail that the company's products are renowned for also extends to the planning design and installation services offered.

Alan Jenkins, Sales Director for Hörmann (UK) Ltd was delighted to accept the award, and said, “It is fantastic to be recognised for our planning and forward thinking, which are the key elements in both new product development and how we work with our customers. By working in this way, not only do we meet industry needs but also ensure we work together with our clients to improve safety in the workplace.”

Earlier this year the Hörmann Light Grille gained a Design 4 Safety award and the recent introduction of he HFB fork lift barrier and new dock Light Guide demonstrates the company's focus on improving loading bay safety for all.
