Ideal Standard introduces the new Ideal Standard Boost shower packs

Ideal Standard, a leading provider of innovative and design-driven bathroom solutions, has launched its new Boost shower packs, offering consumers a powerful, reliable shower designed to enhance performance in homes with low pressure systems.

Innovative and practical the shower valve boosts water flow in low pressure areas, giving a much higher flow rate than an electric shower. Boost allows homeowners a power shower without requiring a fitted pump, Boost works by using the power from a main pressure cold water supply to give a strong, yet controllable shower from a low pressure hot water supply. This is achieved using the venturi effect - when high pressure cold water passes through an orifice and pulls hot water into the throat of a venturi cartridge. The mixture then accelerates down the tube, producing a high yet controllable flow rate.
