Ideal-Standard launches new Ceramix Blue range

Ideal-Standard launches new Ceramix Blue range

Ideal Standard, a leading provider of innovative and design-driven bathroom solutions, launches its newest brassware range, Ceramix Blue, designed by award-winning design house ARTEFAKT.

Ceramix Blue has been developed for consumers requiring a modern, stylish range of brassware with superior performance where user safety and water saving are a priority. The range has low lead and nickel free water carrying components for improved quality of drinking water, meeting the forthcoming new World Health Organisation guidelines. These will recommend lower levels of hazardous metals in drinking water, which contains nickel.

Ceramix Blue now includes water saving features which meet Part G legislation and respond to a growing consumer demand for reducing water waste, to save resources and keep household bills down. Ceramix Blue meets this demand, saving a family of four up to £168 per year on utility bills, compared to a normal basin mixer .

The range incorporates COOL BODY technology. This prevents the overheating of the fitting, even when hot water is running. The fitting can be touched at any time without danger of burning, ensuring optimal safety.

An Industry-first: the Ceramix range features thermostatic bath filling for low pressure systemswhich is now required by the building regulations, to ensure safe bathing for all users. Up until now, thermostatic bath filling has been limited to high pressure systems, or required the added complexity of an additional thermostatic mixing valve. Ceramix Blue offers thermostatically controlled fast bath filling in one quick to install and easy to use fitting.

Ceramix Blue has been developed to operate on all types of hot water systems. It is easy to install and operate, offering excellent value for money.
