Reflex-Rol solar-shading systems include roller-type mechanisms, which have undergone continuous development to move away from the appearance of being an afterthought, common with many blind installations.
The system can appear as an integral part of the window due to the small headboxes, range of side channels, ability to colour co-ordinate and, most importantly, the companys experience in specification and installation.
Designed to run conventionally from top to bottom, or from the sill up, the system can run in any plane from horizontal to vertical. Each unit is made-to-measure and individually assembled, tested and certificated before despatch from the factory.
Detailed performance data is available along with a solar-gain calculation service for any building where the glass specification is known. Consult manufacturer for details. The shades typically permit an energy penetration degree of some 16.2% meaning that 83.8% of all solar energy projected at the window is rejected, this translating into a solar-shading co-efficient of 18.6%.
