Internorm Triumphs in Acoustic Performance

Internorm Triumphs in Acoustic Performance

Frames Direct Ltd worked with Sayers Development to find the perfect solution for their residential development, St Mary’s Mews in Ealing, London by supplying and installing Internorm’s windows and doors.

James, the Technical Director at Frames Direct, explains that Sayers Development required excellent acoustic insulation of 44dB due to the frequency of air traffic above the properties, but with a traditional style of window to compliment the design brief.

This posed problems for many manufacturers who were unable to support the heavy acoustic glass within a traditional frame. However Internorm’s tilt and turn window hardware, has been specifically designed to withstand the extra weight that is associated with large triple glazed systems and with a number of design options, Frames Direct were able to meet the contractors specifications.

Frames Direct Ltd collaborated with Alaister from Sayers Development throughout the project and since completion he has said that it has been a ‘total pleasure dealing with Frames Direct on all aspects of the contract and will be back in touch for the next project.’

Frames Direct prides itself in its in house design and installations team which provides their consistent level of professionalism throughout the duration of the contract.
