Jaga Welcomes RHI Non-Domestic Phase 2 Extension

Jaga Heating Products UK has welcomed the recent announcement of the extension to the Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).

For Jaga, the fact that this second phase of the Non-Domestic scheme now includes Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) - as well as significantly increasing financial support for eligible GSHP systems – will increase and accelerate demand for these technologies.

This is vitally important to Jaga as the company’s dynamic radiators and trench heating systems are the heat emitters recommended by the majority of heat pump manufacturers. In particular when a Low Temperature Heating System is powered by an ASHP, the Jaga Strada DBE remains a hugely popular radiator. It was also named as the ideal heat emitter for use with heat pumps in the Microgeneration Certification Scheme’s MCS 021 Heat Emitter Guide.

Phil Marris, Managing Director of Jaga Heating Products (UK) commented: “This is the news that the renewables industry has been waiting for. Our experience to date is that GSHPs have been preferred for off-gas areas and large country houses, while the benefits of installing an ASHP have been more universally accessible for both Non-Domestic and Domestic properties alike. We are now anticipating significantly increased demand for our range of proven solutions as a result of the Phase 2 Extension announcement. ”

Jaga also offers a free design and support service for specifiers and installers working with renewably powered, Low Temperature Heating Systems.
