Type of works: design, manufacture and installation of covered cycle storage for 180 cycles.

The new build £20 million Jarrow School was chosen as the first totally new building in the South Tyneside and Gateshead Building Schools for the Future (BSF) central Government programme.

Bailey Streetscene was selected to work with the architects, main contractors and head teacher to design, manufacture and install covered cycle storage for 180 cycles.

The schools final choice was for a 24m bespoke Mayfair compound to provide 120 secure spaces together with a 20m and a 4m Mayfair cycle shelter to house a further 60 cycles.

Bailey Streetscene completed the installation of this project September 2009.
