JB Shingles shortlisted for Roofing Awards

JB Shingles shortlisted for Roofing Awards

The finalists for this years Roofing Awards have been announced, and two of the nominees were supplied to by John Brash.

Woburn Center Parcs, Bedfordshire has been shortlisted in the Sustainable Roofs (Shingles & Shakes) category.

For the project, John Brash Cedar Shingles were specified by David Gallimore at Holder Mathias Architects to provide a ‘soft friendly material’. Following the successful installation of John Brash Western Red Cedar Shingles at Whinfell Forest, Cumbria this roofing product was chosen again due to the fact that it is a low maintenance solution that does not require any further treatment.

All JB Shingles are treated with MicroPro a clear preservative treatment that gives the product a 40 year guarantee. JB Shingles No. 1 Grade Blue Label Shingles must be 100% clear, 100% edge grain and 100% heartwood.

Also shortlisted in this category are Clarke Roofing Southern Ltd for the project Wadhurst Church Spire, East Sussex. John Brash also supplied JB Shingles for this project.

This year’s Roofing awards received over 275 entries which were then brought down to 48 projects across 12 disciplines. The winners will be announced at an awards luncheon at the Hilton London Metropole on the 15th May.
