Maple effect Polyflor Sport 80 indoor sports flooring, complete with line markings, has been installed in the sports hall at Jubilee Fields Community Centre in Shildon, Co Durham.

“The attractive and realistic wood effect helps create a warm and stylish feel, giving us a sports hall to be proud of and to enjoy for many years to come,” said a centre spokesperson.

Widely specified for college, school and local authority sports halls, gymnasia and leisure centres, Polyflor Sport 80, and lighter gauge Polyflor Sport 67, both conform to EN 14904, the European standard for sports flooring, and meet all Sport England requirements.

They provide the underfoot resilience and long life demanded by high-traffic applications and are suitable for a wide range of sporting activities including football, badminton, netball and basketball.

Polyflor Sport 80 is an 8mm gauge flooring available in Maple wood-effect and Green. Polyflor Sport 67, in 6.7mm gauge, is available in Blue, Green and Maple. Both products feature a polymer surface treatment for enhanced protection and durability, as well as an easier on-going maintenance regime.
