Junckers Floors for Prestigious New Shopping Centre

Junckers solid hardwood floors have been specified for the newly opened St David’s shopping centre, Cardiff, the largest of its kind in Wales. Part of a £675 million investment by St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and Capital Shopping Centres, the centre features Junckers Wide Board Jarrah in a food court area comprising 25 cafes and restaurants.

Junckers pre-finished Jarrah Wide Board floors were installed over a heated sub-floor with an oiled finish, perfect for a high-traffic area, allowing for easy spot repairs and very quick drying times. Combining exceptional strength and density with rich, burgundy tones, Junckers’ Jarrah has strong environmental credentials and is grown in managed forestry by The Australian Forestry Standard under PEFC.
