Specified by Richard Murphy Architects, VITRAL roof glazing has recently been installed in Justice Mill Lane in Aberdeen.

The VITRAL installers were Graingers and the project consisted of 5 runs of monopitch rooflights in the atrium space using VITRAL's high performing VRS system.

This is a major city centre office and hotel development in Aberdeen using VRS system and is one of many projects that VITRAL has been specified for by Richard Murphy Architects.

The video shows how much natural light can be brought into an atrium space with roof glazing, and by using a system that performs as well as the Vitral VRS system, there is no compromise on the comfort of the space.

Natural ventilation and solar control can be incorporated, and with the lowest U-value for a double glazed rooflight system of only 1.56 W/m²K, it means the building will be energy efficient.

As there is no on-site assembly, the systems prefabrication within the factory allows for the highest levels of quality control and ensures that every panel arrives on site in perfect condition.
