The new Spectra R range of vertical blinds from Kaydee blinds offers both privacy as well as protection from harmful x-rays and is ideal for use where x-ray facilities overlook adjoining rooms or open spaces.
The blinds offer a high level of protection with Pb equivalents of up to 4.0 mm, not just protecting against scatter radiation but also attenuating radiation up to the same level of most x-ray room walls. The blinds can also be closed at the touch of a button offering privacy to the patient and protection to the people outside.
The Spectra-R is designed with infection control in mind – the hardware has a white powder coated finish and the protective louvres are encased in a white PVC which can be easily and fully disinfected.
With no limit to the length of the window and with a standard drop of up to 3.3 metres the Spectra – R will cover all eventualities.
To avoid any periods of downtime, the whole system is designed to be maintenance free, ensuring fully productive x-ray facilities at all times.
The Kaydee team: “Kaydee can help you obtain the maximum from your budget and to give you a result that not only fulfils the function but is also pleasing to the eye.”
