A long awaited transformation of the Kingsgate Shopping Centre will include, 27 more shopping units, multi storey car park and bus station as part of the facelift. The expansion will cover a total area of 162,000sq ft.

Combisafe's Steel Mesh Barrier was used for Mirvan's development of the Kingsgate Shopping Centre's multi storey car park.

The barriers have an unusual role to play, as they don't primarily address edge protection but have a crowd control purpose as well. The barriers are placed at least 12m from the edge so that it keeps workers within the confines of the slabbed area.
