Launch of new product and an accompanying design service. Ancon AMR Masonry Reinforcement

Ancon AMR is steel reinforcement that locates in a bed joint to strengthen masonry panels. The longitudinal wires are flattened to less than 3mm to ensure good mortar cover is maintained, even when the product is lapped or used in the same joint as a wall tie. It is manufactured in 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 4.5mm and 5mm sizes.

AMR improves the structural performance of a wall by providing additional resistance to lateral load. To complement this product launch, Ancon is offering a free masonry panel design service. A standard design sheet is available to summarise details of individual wall panels.

Ancon AMR is manufactured in stainless and galvanised steel in a variety of standard configurations to suit a wide range of structural load conditions and wall widths to 215mm.
