With only 12% of UK land being wooded compared with an average of 32% across Europe, its retention is crucial to help reduce pollution, generate oxygen, maintain wildlife habitats and improve quality of life for surrounding environments.

Leaderflush Shapland was the first company in its industry to develop and implement a BM Trada independently assessed timber tracking system, which meets the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Councils (FSC) Chain of Custody scheme, as well as the government endorsed Central Point of Expertise on Timber Procurement (CPET) environmental timber purchasing policy. Now, at the touch of a button, the company is able to identify the environmental credentials of their products at every stage of a project from the quotation through to delivery.
