Luxalon Lightlines from Hunter Douglas are specifically designed for integration with Luxalon Multi-Panel Ceilings to create both depth and drama and maximize opportunities for the freedom to design with light. These decorative and subtle bands of light enhance the Linear Metal Ceilings and also provide way-finding solutions in public areas such as hospitals, schools and airports.

Luxalon Lightlines consist of embedded strings in translucent polycarbonate extrusions that fit into the joints of the Luxalon Multi-panel ceiling range. A wide range of options from six different colours (White, Warm White, Amber, Red, Green, and Blue) as well as six differing lengths from 160mm up to 1,160mm can be combined to deliver a unique ceiling design. Power consumption of just 3.6W per linear meter together with a maximum operating temperature of 35°C means a very low impact on a buildings total power usage.

Luxalon Lightlines do not require the assistance of a professional light installation specialist, they simply click into the 20mm joint between the panels. Up to six Lightlines can be connected to the 6-way plug which connects to the mains power supply. With a lifetime of 20,000 hours for the LED, Lightlines require less maintenance when compared to conventional lighting where the life expectancy of a fluorescent lamp is 3,000 – 5,000 hours, a CFL 3,000 – 5,000 hours and an incandescent lamp 1,000 – 1,500 hours.
