Lindapter's minimalistic Hollo-Bolt®

The market leader of steelwork fixings has launched the revolutionary Hollo-Bolt Flush Fit, a cavity fixing that creates immense opportunity for architectural design as the bolt is concealed within the steelwork with no protruding bolt head or collar.

Lindapter’s latest innovation merges the technical advantages of their distinguished Hollo-Bolt with the aesthetic benefits of a discrete fixing, meeting the artistic requirements of modern construction, whilst maintaining safe working loads. The fixing is suitable for hollow sections or conventional steelwork where access is available from one side only. Typical Hollo-Bolt applications include: primary and secondary steelwork, bridges, cladding, balconies, towers and masts, staircases and handrails. Installation is fast and simple using Lindapter’s innovative installation nut (included free) allowing the Flush Fit to be installed without a requirement for specialist skills or equipment.

The extension of the Hollo-Bolt range signifies Lindapter’s strategic alignment with advances in modern steelwork construction, Managing Director, Sabine Reimann commented “With almost endless opportunities to shape and sculpture steel, we wanted to create a fixing to further release an architect’s artistic freedom. The fixing is available in sizes M8, M10 and M12, with safe working tensile loads of up to 10.5kN and sheer capacities of up to 15kN per bolt. Materials and finishes include JS 500 as standard, bright zinc plated and stainless steel.
