Liquid membrane coating for Charles de Gaulle

Liquid membrane coating for Charles de Gaulle

Hyperdesmo HAA from Alchimica was recently used on the project to build the bridges connecting the terminals at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Given the size of the area to be coated, and the fact that the project was behind schedule, by the time it came to applying the Aquadur primer and Hyperdesmo top coat it was decided to spray them on.

This worked really well as it is much quicker to apply this way as well as being very quick to cure. It also makes it much easier to apply it around protrusions such as rails and other details. The curing time was fast and meant that construction didn’t have to wait very long for it to dry before carrying on.
