Tried and tested in demanding locations worldwide, the TORMAX REVOLVEDOOR 5201 operator is proven to be extremely reliable. Incorporating a hi-tech programmable logic circuit, the Stock Exchange entrance system delivers optimum performance controlled by a simple keypad, allowing all aspects of door operation to be carefully adjusted to suit fluctuating levels of foot traffic and weather conditions. Promoting energy efficiency and improved safety, infra-red sensors only activate the door to start revolving at as pedestrians approach.

Obviously, safe operation of any automatic door system is of paramount importance and all revolving doors must be capable of restricting rotation speed. However, if power is cut in the event of an emergency this critical safety feature is usually lost. Offering a simple yet effective solution, the TORMAX REVOLVEDOOR ™ cleverly harnesses the power created by the door spinning too quickly to operate an emergency break mechanism, delivering a system that is not only fully compliant with current DDA regulations but which also far exceeds all UK and European regulations for revolving doors.

The London Stock Exchange Group contracted TORMAX to replace the existing entrance to London Stock Exchange with the new visually striking, stainless steel revolving door. Delivering exceptional insulation against the outside weather, the 4-leaf revolving entrance successfully reduces heating costs by minimising through draughts and helping maintain the internal ambient temperature with an integrated air curtain.
