Mapei’s five RIBA assessed and accredited CPDs are now available to book at Domus’ New Specification Home in Clerkenwell, London. Set within Clerkenwell’s renowned design district, the Specification Home offers an enhanced experience for visiting specifiers, architects and contractors alike. The Specification Home showcases many technologically advanced installation systems and products, detailing the succession of layers involved to reach the surface finish - supporting both Mapei and Domus’ CPD’s. Mapei and Domus are delighted to invite you to the first seminar in this state-of-the-art facility, titled Avoiding Ceramic Tiling Failures on Tuesday 23rd October at 8:30am and 12:00pm.

The informative, free of charge seminars cover the topics: Effective Waterproofing; Epoxy Resin & Cementitious Flooring; Fast Track Screeds; Avoiding Ceramic Tiling Failures and Subfloor Preparation. And new titles are underway and will be available soon. Each CPD covers up-to-date building standards, best practise, technical and current issues in addition to successful projects.

The CPD’s are independently certified by RIBA and the Construction CPD Certification Service and provide a valuable tool for Architects, Specifiers and Contractors across the UK and Ireland. The CPD seminars, which are also available to book at company premises, are carried out by dedicated Mapei representatives and include reference material and audiovisual aids.

Each seminar lasts around 40 minutes and includes Q&A’s at the end of each session. A certificate for 1 hour’s CPD can be provided once attendee names have been supplied, this of which contributes to Continuing Professional Development requirements.
