Mapei has removed the hard work from what is often associated with tile fixing and grouting with their new multi-purpose all in one adhesive and grout products; Waterproof Fix & Grout and Fix & Grout Concrete & Timber Floors. Both products come ready mixed and are ideal for both fixing and grouting.

Waterproof Fix & Grout and Fix & Grout Concrete & Timber Floors have easy to follow instructions to ensure that a professional quality finish is achieved. The water-based pastes are mould resistant using Mapei’s BioBlock Technology®. They are also fully water resistant in wet service areas. Step by step photographic guides are available for easy to follow installation.

Waterproof Fix & Grout is a white, ready mixed adhesive and grout paste for interior walls. It is suitable for fixing and grouting joints up to 4mm on ceramic tiles and mosaics in interior locations such as kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and shower areas. It can also be used to bond porcelain tiles provided they do not exceed 200x200 mm and that the substrate is porous. Suitable substrates include plaster, plasterboard, existing tiled finishes, tilebacker boards, sand:cement render, concrete, WBP or marine grade plywood. Primer is not usually required; however, very porous substrates can be primed with diluted Primer G to reduce absorption. It is available in 7.5 kg and 3.75 kg tub quantities as well as smaller 1.5 kg tubs making it convenient for use in domestic or small jobs.

Fix & Grout Concrete & Timber Floors is a grey, ready mixed adhesive and grout for interior floors. It is suitable for use in domestic kitchens and bathrooms for the installation of porous ceramic tiles, porcelain and non-moisture sensitive natural stone. Fix & Grout Concrete & Timber Floors can be fixed directly onto sand: cement screed, concrete, securely fixed tongue and groove chipboard, floor boards, 15 mm plywood overlay and tile backer boards. Once tiles have been fixed and left for a minimum of 24 hours, Fix & Grout Concrete & Timber Floors can be used to grouts joints up to 6mm wide.
