Medem moves premises

Medem UK is off to a flying start in 2011 with its move to larger premises to accommodate the company’s continuing success.

Despite the tough economic environment, Medem has continued to grow its business year on year, reporting an increased turnover of 11% on the previous 12 months and an equally healthy sales forecast for the year to come. With a shortage of space at its original factory due to this increase in production, the company has moved its headquarters to more spacious surroundings at Manchester’s iconic 1897 Linotype Works Factory.

The industrial North, historically the centre of British manufacture, is a fitting location for Medem’s new company headquarters. A true champion of UK industry, the organisation prides itself on designing all its products within the company and building and testing them individually on-site.

"We think of ourselves very much as a British manufacturer - so where better to base our headquarters than Manchester with its strong industrial heritage,” said Chris Dearden, Managing Director of Medem UK.“Clients like to deal with Medem UK because its people are good to deal with. Equally important is the product; we design our products within the company and we build the products in our own factory."

Medem systems have engineering modes to enable easier installation and servicing. LCD screens provide information on the status of a system, as well as easy to follow instructions for end users. An industry-leading five year warranty is provided with all Medem products, plus a 10 year warranty for all complete commissioned Medem systems. Medem also offers accessible and friendly 24-hour technical support on all its products.
