The £40m first phase of a major project at Swansea’s Morriston Hospital will include a tiered car park, a helicopter landing pad on top of the car park and new access roads to aid the flow of traffic in and out of the hospital grounds.

The nerve-centre for this Welsh Assembly Government plan to improve the services offered by the hospital are the site offices of international construction giant BAM Construction. Supplied to BAM by Wernick Hire, the two-storey, six-on-six linked secure modular units that comprise the offices offer high levels of site accommodation and security and include offices and meeting rooms on the first floor and a kitchen, drying room, canteen, toilets, and sub-contractors’ offices on the ground floor. The system was supplied finished in BAM’s corporate colours of Rrange and Green.
