Beautiful timber Conservation box sash windows by Mumford & Wood have been specified in the complete internal and external refurbishment of a Regency period property in fashionable Pimlico Village, City of Westminster, to an eclectic, 10-bedroom boutique hotel.
Mumford & Wood Conservation double glazed box sash windows, finished in white, have replaced inefficient single glazed sash windows of a much simpler design. They provide superb thermal efficiency whilst perfectly reproducing the period style. Windows and entrance doors at street level have also been replaced and finished using Mumford & Woods colour matching service.
Tom Barfield, sales director, Mumford & Wood, said "The Conservation box sash windows specified here are complimented externally with attractive fine architectural detail and stonework. The whole project looks beautiful but I am particularly pleased with the ground floor treatment where sash windows and doors were coupled with panelling to recreate the original features of the old Clarendon Public House".
