stoneCIRCLE carries out CNC manufacturing of natural stone products for the UKs foremost contractors. The factory uses the latest stone industry technology with extremely precise computer controlled cutting machines including some capable of carrying out 3D stone carving and 3D stone machining as well as a water jet cutter for producing inlaid wall and floor surfaces.
The firm works with either free issue or supplied stone to the contractors specification and has completed projects in many different types of natural stone since it started in 1968.
The company sources stone from around the world including but not limited to hundreds of different granites, marbles, limestones, onyx and travertine. There is a gallery in the Newbury showroom where clients can view full size slabs of natural stone and pick the best one for their project, aided by the expert advice of the stoneCIRCLE staff.
Recent projects include manufacturing Susanna Herons limestone frieze for the Stirling Prize winning Sainsbury Laboratory in Cambridge, 12 marble staircases for the Regent St showroom of a major retail brand, the granite memorial for the Normandy Landings, and the limestone altar, tabernacle, font and inlaid flooring for a church in Birmingham. It has also supplied many hotels, spas and leisure centres as well as producing sculptures, monuments and memorials.
