NetApp International Headquarters moves to Navigation Square

Eva Williams of Henry J Lyons explains the design concept for the interior of the building took inspiration from the iconic Shandon Church of St Anne 'Goldie fish' to emphasize the maritime history and location of the site. This salmon shaped weathervane is one of the most iconic sights on the North Cork skyline. The design aim is to familiarise the international business employees to its surroundings.

The Ecophon products, namely the Solo Wave Baffle worked perfectly within the design concept and also led to the acoustic performance of each space which was a major factor in being the very first project outside of Dublin to achieve a LEED accreditation of Platinum.

Declan McElhinney of Ceiling & Allied commented:
“This is certainly one of the more interesting recently completed projects that we have been involved in. The variation of waves and circles really lends itself to the maritime theme within the space. The installation worked out extremely well given the amount of mechanical and electrical services we had to consider within the void space. We feel the end result looks fantastic.”
